In her lecture focusing on creating ceramic sculptures using the traditional potter’s wheel, Assoc. Prof. Rutar introduced both undergraduate and graduate students to various practices in contemporary ceramic art and the possibilities offered by different materials. She shared valuable insights into how clay shaped on the potter’s wheel can be used as an innovative approach to sculpture making.
Following the lecture, Assoc. Prof. Rutar worked individually with graduate students, providing guidance on planning and executing their personal art projects. The teaching activity concluded with a presentation where Rutar shared examples of her own artistic work and her experiences in creating sculptures on the potter’s wheel. At the end of the event, an in-depth evaluation and feedback session was held with the graduate students to discuss their project development and realization processes.
Through this event, students had the opportunity to deepen their theoretical knowledge and gain valuable ideas about practical applications in the field of ceramics.
