FOR STUDIES:

Erasmus exchange students who wish to study at BAIBU should first contact the Erasmus Office/coordinator at their home universities to check the availability of bilateral agreement between the two universities and, if yes, follow the steps herein.

*Select the courses offered by the related faculty. Please check the bologna.ibu.edu.tr/erasmus for the courses offered in English.

* Fill out the student application form and learning agreement for studies.

* Get transcript of records from your home university.

* Photocopy of passport

* Passport-size biometric photo (jpeg format - 220pixels (width) - 290 pixels (height), white background (to be sent by e-mail)

Please send the necessary documents to BAIBU Erasmus Office before the deadline. The scanned documents are also accepted.

** If the Erasmus period is longer than 90 days, all exchange students must apply for residence permit. To apply for residence permit, the students must have general health insurance. After you receive the letter of acceptance, the Office will send you the necessary info about the health insurance policy and the content required by the Immigration Office in Turkey.

Application deadlines:

for autumn semester/full academic year                          for spring semester

The ones who want to stay in a private flat or share a flat with other Turkish students in the city center are advised to contact us by e-mail (erasmusincoming@ibu.edu.tr ). The Office does not guarantee to find a flat but can give you info for guidance.

FOR TRAINEESHIP:

* Contact the departmental coordinator about the possibility and content of the traineeship. Please check the contact info for the list of the departmental coordinators.

* Fill out the student application form and learning agreement for traineeship.

* Get transcript of records from your home university.

* Photocopy of passport

* Passport-size biometric photo (jpeg format - 220pixels (width) - 290 pixels (height), white background (to be sent by e-mail)
