Erasmus Student Network (ESN) is one of the biggest interdisciplinary student associations in Europe, founded in 1989 for supporting and developing student exchange. Spread over all Europe and with its main office in Brussels, Belgium.
In 2012, the buddy student system runned by the AIBU Erasmus Office, reconstructed under the name of Erasmus Student Network and has been approved as an official section of ESN which we call the organization as ESN-IBU since then. ESN-IBU is a university student organization and has many active members. We mainly aim to assist the incoming Erasmus students about their documentation, accommodation and entertainment processes during their stay at Abant Izzet Baysal University.
Since 2012, every semester AIBU Erasmus Office and ESN IBU organizes the Orientation Week cooperatively, the week which incoming Erasmus students' Erasmus period officially starts and official procedures are completed.
ESN IBU has many volunteer student members from various departments who are willing to help the incoming students. To be assigned with a buddy student please fill the form and send to esnibu@esnturkey.org via email. The buddy student will respond to your questions about Bolu, university, life, traveling info and so on.
