Organized by the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Health Sciences, our university will host the 3rd International Physiotherapy Day as an online event on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at 5:00 PM (GMT+3).

The event will be moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şebnem Avcı, Coordinator of International Relations, and will feature distinguished speakers including faculty members from our Erasmus+ partner universities:

• Prof. Nerijus Masiulis (Lithuanian Sports University)
• M. Sertaç Tunç (Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal University)
• James Pullen and Dr. Ayfer Kahraman (London South Bank University)

The event will address current topics such as:

• The most effective types of exercise for cognitive and functional gains in older adults
• Pain management strategies
• The impact of motivational interviewing on physical activity in individuals with chronic low back pain
