Orientation days were organized between 25–27 September 2024 for 13 students who came to study at our university during the 2024–2025 academic year fall semester from Spain, Hungary, Kosovo, and Kazakhstan. These students are participating in mobility activities within the scope of Erasmus+ KA171 and KA131 Student Mobility for Studies and through Inter-Institutional Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The purpose of the orientation days was to introduce the students to our university and Erasmus Office, help them get to know each other, and provide information about the procedures they need to complete at our university. During the orientation programme, various activities were organized to support students’ adaptation to each other, to the programme, and to our institution, including library training, meetings with academic advisors, and tours introducing the city and the university.
In addition to informative sessions on academic and administrative procedures, a brief presentation about Turkish culture was also given. Throughout this process, members of the ESNIBU (Erasmus Student Network) Community at our university, in collaboration with our Office, provided guidance and support to the incoming students.
