Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies (KA131)Fall Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year
2025 Project – First Call Results Announcement
The results of the Erasmus+ Student Mobility for Studies applications for the Fall Semester of the 2025–2026 Academic Year are listed below. Please read the following information carefully.
- The Contribution Agreement for the year 2025 between Türkiye and the European Commission has not yet been signed. Therefore, being selected for mobility with or without a grant as a result of your Erasmus+ application does not constitute an acquired right. Whether you will receive a grant or the amount of the grant will be finalized only after the agreement is signed and the grant allocation process to our university is completed. Our university and the Turkish National Agency cannot be held responsible for any material or moral losses that may arise due to delays or issues in these processes.
- Students selected for mobility must be aware that they will bear all financial responsibilities until the grant agreements are signed between our university and the Turkish National Agency and the funds are transferred to our university’s accounts.
- In light of this information, students who wish to withdraw from the mobility will not be penalized with a deduction of 10 points.
- The evaluation was conducted by calculating 50% of the academic GPA (based on the YÖK 100-point system) and 50% of the foreign language score to determine the final Erasmus score.
- Placement was made by ranking Erasmus scores from highest to lowest within each faculty/institute and department.
- Departmental diversity was taken into account during the evaluation process.
- Tried to utilize the quotas in bilateral agreements to the fullest extent. Therefore, inter-faculty quota transfers were made.
- The waiting list is ranked within each department.
- In departments without a waiting list, in the event of a withdrawal, and if there is available quota under bilateral agreements, the right to participate will be granted to the student with the highest Erasmus score among the waiting list candidates within the same faculty. If no such candidate exists, the selection will be made from the general waiting list.
- The number of students who will receive full, partial, or no grant under the 2025 contract period will be finalized following the signing of the 2025 Contribution Agreement and the subsequent distribution of KA131 grants.
- Until the grant distribution is finalized, selected students will hold Candidate/Principal status.
- Students who have been selected must confirm their participation by sending an email to erasmusoutgoing@ibu.edu.tr by Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 17:00.
- Students participating in mobility during their 4th year should consider the risk of extending their studies if course equivalency cannot be achieved.
- Students who do not wish to continue with the placement at the assigned university may submit a petition of withdrawal to the Erasmus Office. The petition must be submitted in person or sent via email to erasmusoutgoing@ibu.edu.tr by Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 17:00.
- In the event of withdrawals, the waiting list will be activated starting March 26, 2025.
- Students who fail to withdraw on time will face point deductions in future Erasmus applications.
- Objections to the results can be submitted via a petition to the Erasmus Office by Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 17:00. Petitions may be delivered in person or sent via email to erasmusoutgoing@ibu.edu.tr.
- These results represent a preliminary evaluation. Final placement is subject to the approval of the host institutions. Therefore, pre-accepted candidates are not guaranteed final placement.
- Students may participate in mobility without a grant, provided there is available quota and the host institution accepts them.
- An informational meeting regarding the process will be held by the Erasmus Office for selected candidates on Thursday, March 27, 2025, between 12:30–15:30. Venue: Student Center Building, Youth Office, Ground Floor, Multi-Purpose Hall 2
