Erasmus+ KA131 Staff Mobility for Training – Call for Applications (1st Call)

Under the scope of Erasmus+ KA131 Staff Mobility for Training, mobilities will be carried out to EU member countries. This mobility activity covers staff training mobilities for the 2024–2025 academic year.

Documents to be Uploaded to the System During Application:

  • Signed and Approved Invitation Letter from the Host Institution
  • Day-by-Day Training Program (Signed and Approved)
    Note: Do not fill out the “Mobility Agreement for Training” form for the day-by-day training program.
  • Employment Certificate Indicating Years of Service at BAİBÜ (via ÜBYS)
    Note: Please make sure not to upload a “Service Certificate” instead of the required “Employment Certificate” during the application process.
  • Language Proficiency Certificate (if available)
    Minimum required score: 50
    Staff members will be awarded points based on valid language exam results such as YDS, KPDS, or other exams recognized as equivalent by ÖSYM

Application Procedure:

  • All application procedures will be carried out online through the e-Government (e-Devlet) application platform structured by the Turkish National Agency.
  • Applicants must upload the required documents to the relevant sections of the Application Portal. Applications with missing documents will not be considered.
  • The Application Portal will close on May 20, 2025, at 5:00 PM GMT+3. No applications or document uploads will be accepted after the specified date and time.
  • After logging in via e-Devlet, applicants can access the Erasmus+ applications of Bolu Abant Izzet Baysal University.
  • At the end of the application process, do not forget to click the “Confirm Application Form” button.

All applicants will be ranked based on their weighted scores, calculated according to the evaluation criteria listed below. After the announcement of the selection results, all objections, appeals, and requests related to the selection and placement process will be accepted via email at: erasmus@ibu.edu.tr

 

Scope of Staff Mobility for Training:

Staff mobility for training is an activity that enables university personnel to receive training in one of the Programme Countries. Within this scope, participants can enhance their skills related to their current job through various training activities such as job shadowing, workshops, or on-the-job training.

The training activity can take place at partner higher education institutions abroad, as well as in companies or other relevant organizations. These may include businesses, training centers, research institutes, chambers of commerce and industry, schools, foundations, non-profit organizations, career guidance centers, professional counseling institutions, and higher education institutions. In this context, an eligible host organization refers to any public or private institution—regardless of size, legal status, or economic sector—including those operating in the social economy.

Staff mobility for training is considered a full-time activity, and grants are provided only for the days when full-time training is received. Therefore, the Staff Mobility for Training Agreement (Mobility Agreement) to be prepared after selection must include a day-by-day training schedule.

The duration of the training activity is set as 5 working days, excluding travel days.

No grant will be provided for travel days.

However, travel support will be provided based on the distance calculator (see link below).

During the selection process, the criteria established by the BAİBU Erasmus Office in accordance with the rules of the Turkish National Agency and the Erasmus+ Programme will be taken into account. The training activity must be completed by Friday, December 26, 2025, at the latest, in accordance with the project contract.

Staff members may also participate in the program without receiving a grant, if they wish.

Green Travel Support: Air travel is not considered a green mode of transportation. If the main mode of transport—used for the majority of the distance between two points—is a means other than air travel, the applicant will be eligible for the additional green travel grant.

In the event of a tie in the ranking, the following priorities will be applied in order until the tie is resolved:

1. Priority will be given to the staff member with a longer duration of service.

2. Priority will be given to the staff member with a higher language proficiency score.

In order to promote diversity among participants benefiting from the program, will be tried to allocate quotas to each department during the selection process.
